About In Balance Consulting
Trish Tapara
Owner
As the owner of In Balance Consulting and an experienced organisational development consultant I have worked in a wide range of organisations. I am a registered psychologist (Industrial and Organisational), an experienced coach, consultant, facilitator, and designer.
I believe we all have unique and special capability and untapped potential. It excites me as a coach and facilitator to be part of revealing that potential, helping people to gain insights, develop self awareness, and become their authentic self. By facing challenges and building our commitment to action we can all perform at higher levels than we have thought possible. It is exciting to see how that growth and development contributes to our personal wellbeing, the wellbeing of the people we live and work with, the performance of the organisations we work in and to the development of positive and dynamic communities.
I bring energy, commitment and a fresh perspective to my work as a coach and as a consultant. I play a key role in leading projects that build team, leadership and organisational capability for improved performance and business success. I provide an evidence based and a pragmatic business approach to projects, and draw on my extensive experience in all aspects of organisational development to deliver results and meet deadlines. This experience includes thought leadership, needs analysis and design, strategy development, diversity planning and leadership development implementing learning and development systems, competency frameworks, and systems for measuring outcomes.
I can partner with other companies when working on projects that require a number of people with a range of skill sets. This provides flexibility for the client and enables In Balance Consulting to meet a wide range of needs across many different projects.
Living my philosophy of being in balance in life and work I love to spend time with my family and am involved in my community through toastmasters and the local HRINZ committee. I am a keen adventure traveler with recent trips to India, China, Nepal and Tibet. My thirst for new experiences means I plan to explore other exciting destinations, whenever the opportunity arises.
